These terms govern bookings, prints and the newsletter. Where your signed booking contract says something different, the contract takes precedence.
Wedding, engagement, portrait, maternity, newborn and destination photography and film, as described in the Investment guide and confirmed in writing in your booking contract.
A booking is confirmed by a signed contract and a 30 per cent non-refundable retainer, paid by bank transfer, Stripe card, or in person. The balance is due fourteen calendar days before the event.
More than 90 days before the event: everything above the 30 per cent retainer is refunded. Between 30 and 90 days: half the balance is refunded. Within 30 days: no refund.
If we cancel for a reason within our control, every sum you have paid is refunded in full.
If both photographers are ill, or a government restriction, natural disaster or transport failure beyond our control prevents the day, we rebook at no extra cost for any mutually convenient date within eighteen months. Where rebooking is impossible the retainer is returned in full.
Galleries within ten weeks of the event, films within eight, albums within fourteen weeks of your approval of the spreads. Between July and September we may add up to four weeks, and we will tell you at the time rather than afterwards.
You receive full personal-use print rights to every delivered photograph, in perpetuity. Commercial use — advertising, resale, use by a third party — needs a separate licence.
We keep copyright in the photographs and films. We may show them in our portfolio, journal, social media and printed materials unless you signed the opt-out clause at booking.
Our maximum liability under any contract is the total fee paid for the services concerned. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits our liability for death, personal injury, or fraud.
Greek law, with the courts of Athens holding exclusive jurisdiction.
