These are the questions that actually arrive, in the words people actually use. If yours is not here, write to us and we will add it.
We photograph the wedding. Rain is not a problem for the pictures, only for the plan — and the plan is yours, not ours. Some of the best frames we have came out of a portico nobody intended to stand in.
Yes. The Quiet Day is Kostas alone. If you would rather have Camille alone, ask — it is the same price, we simply do not advertise it because it is rare.
Yes, regularly. Travel is invoiced at cost with receipts: ferries, flights, and two nights for two people. There is no destination surcharge.
No. We do not deliver RAWs, ever, to anyone. You receive full-resolution JPEGs with full print rights, which means you can print anything, anywhere, at any size, forever. The RAW is our working negative.
A preview of twenty or so frames within a week. The full gallery in four weeks, five for The Whole Story. Films take eight weeks because the score is written after the edit.
We correct exposure and colour. We do not change faces, bodies, or skies. If someone has a spot on the day we will usually take it out; if you want to be a different shape, we are the wrong studio and we will say so kindly.
We stop. Tell us in advance if you know of someone, and we will simply work around them. Nobody has ever noticed the difference in the final gallery.
Nothing. Your booked hours start when we arrive, not when the ceremony was supposed to begin, and we have never left a wedding at the contracted minute. If the delay pushes the night well past the booking we will tell you at the time, not afterwards.
Give us a list of the people who must be photographed together — grandparents, someone who travelled a long way, a friend who is ill. That list we follow exactly. A list of poses collected from Pinterest we will politely talk you out of.
A thirty per cent retainer holds the date and the balance is due two weeks before. The contract is two pages and you will understand all of it.
Two years, downloadable throughout. After that we keep the archive but the link goes down; write to us and we will put it back up for a month.
Occasionally, for people we have already worked with. We do not photograph products, food, corporate events, or property.
They talked us out of the shot list we arrived with, kindly and with reasons.
