Two people, one workshop, eleven years.

Kostas grew up in Petralona and went to the Athens School of Fine Arts, then spent four years in Berlin assisting an editorial photographer who never once let him use a zoom lens. He came home in 2013 intending to shoot magazine work.

Camille arrived in Athens the same year from Aix-en-Provence, by way of La Fémis in Paris, to make a short documentary about the rebetiko revival in Kerameikos. The film took nine months. She never went back to France permanently.

The first wedding was an accident. A friend on Hydra in June 2014 asked them both to come and take a few pictures, and the few pictures turned into a fourteen-hour day and a set of photographs neither of them expected to be proud of. Eighteen months later it was the only work they were doing.
